• Coated canvas bags: Natural canvas with wipeable and water-resistant TPU-coated external
• Jute canvas bags with leather trim: a tight weave, durable jute canvas with a refined leather trim. Splash proof, but not a coated finish. 
• Regular coated canvas totes (excludes any with leather): Gingham, Floral and Natural totes are unbleached canvas with natural flecks and coloured design printed. While canvas is quite durable, unfortunately some clothing dye can still affect any lighter materials so not immune to getting some marks. We recommend mild detergent on the outside (NOT including jute canvas - please wipe with a damp cloth) - or a product like the Twoobs Blooper Booper to remove marks as they happen. 
• Jute canvas totes with leather trim: Jute canvas is a larger-weave material than a tight cotton canvas, and as such is not something that is coated. While it is fairly resistant to splashes, it is recommended that you treat the item like the leather trims - protect and clean any marks as quickly as possible. Some clothing dye can still affect any lighter materials so not immune to getting some marks. We recommend mild detergent on the outside (NOT including jute canvas - please wipe with a damp cloth) - or a product like the Twoobs Blooper Booper to remove marks as they happen. 
• Note for images: internals will match your bag - black used for indicative purposes only. We recommend spraying a waterproof spray on bag internals for extra protection as coating is external only

COATED CANVAS: Our TPU-coated canvas does feel a little different to straight cotton, but that's the beauty of it - instead of it attracting dirt, you can wipe it away so your bag stays looking better for a lot longer. It feels a little more rigid with this coating and may have a slight sheen to it.

Please note there may be up to 1cm difference in measurements depending on the hand craftsmanship of each bag.

CARE

Cotton canvas is a durable material - the TPU coating makes the external of the bag resistant to more dirt and water - please keep in mind it is not completely stain proof, be sure to clean spills etc ASAP. To clean, wipe gently with a baby wipe or mild soap - vigorous rubbing may cause abrasion/damage to the coating. Store out of direct sunlight, avoid abrasive surfaces. We recommend using our Collonil waterproofer to help care for your items. Clean gently with soft, damp cloth or spot clean with care, avoiding hardware. Rain exposure should still be avoided. Avoid rubbing this material against colour-contrasting materials as some dyes may stain irreparably, protect it from ongoing UV exposure, heat, liquids and greasy substances where possible.
